Advantages of using phenolic materials for pipeline insulation

phenolic materials for pipeline insulation

Phenolic foam insulation pipe shell and pipe support are new pipe insulation materials cut and molded with high-performance fireproof insulation phenolic foam. The shell and bracket have strong insulation effect, fire safety, convenient construction, and neat appearance.
Phenolic foam insulation pipe shell has excellent dimensional stability, long-term insulation, corrosion resistance, weather resistance, aging resistance, and non water absorption. Phenolic foam insulation pipe shell is high temperature resistant, and can be used for industrial pipes, building cold and hot water pipes, air conditioning ducts, etc. below 150 ℃.

Phenolic foam insulation shell can be used in cryogenic field.
Phenolic foam was initially used for thermal insulation of aerospace, rockets and missiles. Due to its efficient insulation performance and excellent fire resistance, it has been highly valued by the military. After the 1970s, phenolic foam was the most commonly used thermal insulation material in the selection of thermal insulation materials for warship aircraft carriers.
Phenolic foam insulation pipe shell is widely used for cryogenic equipment insulation, cryogenic tank body, pipeline insulation, and cryogenic treatment equipment insulation. It is widely used in petrochemical, air separation, LNG and cryogenic processing pretreatment equipment. Because of the superior thermal insulation performance of phenolic foam, the thermal insulation effect is very prominent.

20Phenolic Foam Cold Water Pipe Shell Insulation
Phenolic foam has good heat preservation effect. Phenolic foam is adopted, which has low engineering cost and good dimensional stability. Under ultra-low temperature, the phenolic foam has stable dimensions, no shrinkage deformation, no brittle crack, and is widely used in LNG pipeline cold insulation projects. Since the phenolic foam insulation pipe shell was applied to LNG pipeline in 2004, the construction has exceeded 50000 meters, and no cold escape has occurred so far.
