Phenolic foam board is made of phenolic foam material, which is lightweight, fireproof, non combustible in case of open fire, smoke-free, non-toxic, and drip free, and has a wide temperature range (-192~+100 ℃). The following are its main performance and uses:
Fire resistance: phenolic foam board has excellent fire resistance. Its combustion performance can reach Grade A at most, and the maximum service temperature is 180 ℃ (250 ℃ instantaneous is allowed). Under the direct action of the flame, it has carbon deposition, no dripping, no curling, no melting phenomenon. After the flame burns, a layer of “graphite foam” is formed on the surface, effectively protecting the foam structure in the layer.
Thermal insulation performance: phenolic foam has high closed cell rate, low thermal conductivity (can be lower than 0.020w/mk) and good thermal insulation performance. It is a good thermal insulation and energy saving material, and also an ideal thermal insulation material for HVAC and refrigeration engineering.
Corrosion resistance and aging resistance: phenolic foam is resistant to almost all inorganic acids, organic acids and organic solvents, and has strong corrosion resistance and aging resistance.
Reducing the self weight of buildings: can reduce the load of buildings and reduce structural costs.
Sound absorption performance: phenolic foam board has excellent sound absorption performance, and closed cell foam structure is more conducive to sound insulation.
Environmental protection: phenolic foam is a safe and green new energy-saving building material, and its advantages have been recognized by construction departments and public security and fire departments. Compared with insulation materials such as rock wool and glass wool, it does not harm the environment or people.
Easy and fast construction: can improve work efficiency. Phenolic foam board mainly includes exterior wall phenolic insulation board, sandwich phenolic insulation board, tunnel phenolic insulation board, ventilation phenolic insulation board and phenolic insulation pipe. It is widely used for insulation of central air conditioning systems in high-end and high-rise buildings such as hotels, apartments, hospitals, etc.
